Public Access to Board Member Ethics Training Records
In accordance with California Government Code Section 53235.2 (as updated by Senate Bill 827), Grizzly
Challenge Charter School maintains records of completed ethics training (AB 1234) for its governing board
members and covered officials. These records track the dates of compliance and the entities providing the
training. They are public records subject to disclosure under the California Public Records Act (CPRA).
How to Submit a Records Request
Members of the public may request copies of these certificates at any time. To help us locate the documents efficiently, please include the following details in your request:
- Official’s Name: Specify the name(s) of the board member(s) or official(s) whose records you are requesting.
- Timeframe: State the specific years or two-year compliance cycles you wish to review.
- Delivery Preference: Indicate whether you prefer electronic copies via email or physical copies (copying fees may apply for physical pages).

Expected Response Timeline
Requests are processed under the guidelines of the California Public Records Act. Grizzly Challenge Charter
School will respond within 10 calendar days from the date the request is received to notify you whether
responsive records exist and provide an estimated date for production.
